Chicago Sky Seattle Storm Preview How to Watch

The WNBA season is coming down to the wire as the Chicago Sky prepare for their final regular-season home game against the Seattle Storm. After Sunday’s 94-91 win over the Connecticut Sun, the Sky look to leave it all on the court for the home crowd.

Courtney Vandersloot led the way for the Sky in their win over the Sun, scoring a game-high 20 points. She also picked up five assists and four steals. With their 25th victory in 2022, the Sky set a franchise record for most wins in a regular season. Their previous record was 24.

The Sky are 8-2 in their last 10 games and currently riding a two-game winning streak. With three games remaining in the regular season, it will be intriguing to see how well Chicago plays out matchups against features the Storm, Aces, and Mercury.

Seattle lost its final regular-season home game against the Aces on Sunday by a score of 89-81. The thriller between the two Western Conference teams had playoff-level intensity as a sell-out crowd came to cheer on Sue Bird’s final regular-season home game. Storm star Breanna Stewart was on fire, putting up 35 points and 10 rebounds. Bird finished with nine points, six assists, and four rebounds.

The Storm are 5-5 in their last 10 games. They have a similar season-ending slate to the Chicago Sky. Seattle will face two of the league’s best teams (Chicago/Las Vegas) in two of their last three games of the season.

Tuesday night’s game could potentially be the Bird’s final game against the Sky, barring a WNBA Finals matchup. Regardless, it will be the last time the four-time WNBA champion plays a regular-season game in Chicago.
