CHICAGO – Tee off at Saint Xavier University’s 26th annual Golf Classic on Thursday, Aug. 11. Participants will enjoy “eye-opener” drinks, a full round of golf, lunch and beverages on the course, a cocktail reception and a steak dinner to enjoy at Silver Lake Country Club, 14700 South 82nd Ave., Orland Park. Proceeds from the event raise funds for student scholarships. Since 1997, the Saint Xavier University Golf Classic has raised more than $1 million dollars for student scholarships.
Experience a great day of golf and fellowship with friends and colleagues, while raising money to support deserving and talented SXU students. Registration begins at 8 am, followed by a shotgun start at 9 am The 19th Hole Cocktail Hour will be held at 3 pm
Registration for individual golfers is $250 and non-golfers can purchase a reception/dinner-only option for $55. Several sponsorship opportunities are also available.

SXU faculty and staff can enjoy a reduced rate of $150. Attendees can also participate in a raffle to win Cougar Classic prizes, now open for online ticket purchase. Winners will be selected at the Golf Classic, but need not be present to win. The raffle features great prizes, including a Bears vs. Vikings package that is sure to cause some excitement. Purchase your raffle tickets online by Wednesday, August 10, for a chance to win two VIP tickets to Florence + the Machine at Huntington Bank Pavilion on Sept. 7. Proceeds from the Cougar Classic raffle also benefit the SXU scholarship fund!
