Chicago Fire striker Kacper Przybylko sells Orland Park

Chicago Fire striker Kacper Przybylko and his wife, Kinga, in late February paid $635,000 for a four-bedroom, 3,480-square-foot house in Orland Park.

The Germany-born Przybylko, 29, was traded to the Fire in January by the Philadelphia Union.

Built in 1993, Przybylko’s new house has 2 1/2 bathrooms, two fireplaces, a formal dining room, hardwood floors, a finished walkout basement with a wet bar, and an updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a double oven, granite countertops, a tile backsplash, an island and wooden cabinetry. Other features include a primary bedroom suite with a remodeled bathroom and a two-story deck.

“One of his requirements was to be within 30 minutes of the training facility at Toyota Park (now SeatGeek Stadium)” in Bridgeview, said Mark Mikina of Baird & Warner, who represented the Przybylkos in their purchase. “He loves the neighbourhood, he loves the size of the house and he’s planning on putting down roots here. It has easy access to the training facility and to the downtown area.”

The house first had been listed for $639,900. It had a $10,687 property tax bill in the 2020 tax year.
